Huntley Police Blotter: Series of Car Burglaries Reported
Police release this week's reports.

Huntley police reported a series of car burglaries occurred on Ruth Road last week.
The burglaries were reported in the 10000 block of Ruth Road on July 28, police said. Two other car burglaries were reported in the 10600 block of Wolf Drive, according to reports.

- Robert P. Arata, 63, of 775 Springhill, was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct July 26, police said. Arata posted bond and was released with a Kane County court date of Aug. 16.
- A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 11100 block of Church Street. Windows on the building were damaged on July 29, police said.
- A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10700 block of Timer Drive where a BB gun pellet damaged a window on July 29, police said.
- Police are investigating a burglary at a construction site in the 13200 block of Fhy Drive on July 30. Construction equipment was stolen.
- Police said a criminal damage to property report was taken at a business the 12300 block of Route 47 on July 30. A window was shattered.
- A 38-year-old Huntley woman faces a battery charge, police said. Amy J. Lee, of 10022 Marvin, was charged July 31. Lee posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Aug. 26.
