Huntley Police Blotter: Two Arrests at Huntley High School

Two Huntley High School students face charges in separate incidents involving a battery and disorderly conduct, Huntley police said.
A 17-year-old male, of Huntley, was arrested on two charges of battery at the high school, 13719 Harmony Road, on Feb. 1, police said. Huntley police said the incident involved a fight between two students.

In the second incident, another 17-year-old, of Lake in the Hills, was charged with disorderly conduct on Feb. 2, police said.
Both juveniles were released to their parents and will be petitioned in juvenile court, police said.

In other reports released this week:
- A theft report was taken at the high school Jan. 30, police said. A student reported that her cell phone was stolen from her backpack.
- Four burglaries to motor vehicle reports were taken at a business parking lot in the 11300 block of Main St. on Jan. 31, according to reports.Β The victims reported that cash, debit cards and electronics were stolen.
- Edward C. Rader, 38, of 10888 Harry Road, Huntley, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis, driving with a suspended license and was cited for registration suspended and no insurance on Jan. 31, police said. Rader posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of March 16.
