LITH Woman First in State to Receive Top Honor

Lake in the Hills Patch reports local woman receives rare award, only 28 are given out each year.

She’s a gemologist and works at a posh jewelry store in Chicago’s Loop but it’s Elizabeth Roxworthy’s second job as a captain in the U.S. Army National Guard that won her a rare accolade— the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award.
