CHICAGO, IL — Four teenage boys face felony charges in the robbery of a 23-year-old woman Friday on the South Side after allegedly offering to carry her bags before hitting her in the head and taking off with her property, according to Chicago police.

All four boys — a 13-year-old, 14-year-old and two 16 year-olds — were each charged with robbery. The 14-year-old also was charged with misdemeanor battery.

At about 11:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, the boys approached the women in the 200 block of West 47th Street in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood and asked to help her with the bags she was carrying, police said.
