James Varrick Armaah returns to Chicago, this time with his diaspora choir. Armaah’s art compositions top the music charts in Ghana. He brought down the house last year with our pick-up community choir. Join us for more of his music, sung this time by choir members from Ghana who now live in the US and who come together as a reunion choir touring the US. Their premier concert in Chicago will be Saturday, June 20, 5 pm, at Hyde Park Union Church, 5600 S Woodlawn Ave., free of charge.
