Hear Overture No. 2 by Emilie Mayer—a German Romantic composer often considered “the female Beethoven”—alongside Edward Elgar’s tender Salut d’Amour and Haydn’s Symphony No. 104 “London,” the final symphony in his massive oeuvre.
