Driver Hurt After Car Strikes Pole On Lake Shore Drive
A 25-year-old man is expected to survive after an early Tuesday morning crash near Promontory Point.
CHICAGO, IL - A 25-year-old man is injured after an overnight crash on Lake Shore Drive in Hyde Park.
Chicago police said early Tuesday morning that at 2:02 a.m. the driver of a Honda Civic was southbound on the thoroughfare near 53rd Street when the car struck a median and then a light pole. The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive.
No other injuries were reported, police said.
