Driver Strikes Pole in Jackson Park and Dies
The man was confirmed to have died in the early Sunday morning crash on Cornell Dr.
CHICAGO, IL - A driver who struck a pole with his vehicle early Sunday morning in Jackson Park has died.
The identity and age of the man who hit the pole around 5:25 a.m. in the 6500 block of S. Cornell was not immediately known, CBS-Chicago reports. The man was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital upon arrival.
No one else was injured in the crash.
