Father Stabbed To Death By Adult Son In Hyde Park: Police
A man is in custody after police said he stabbed his 69-year-old father to death.
CHICAGO, IL - A man is in custody Wednesday morning after police said he stabbed his father to death at a home in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood. Police were called to the 5300 block of South Shore Drive around 3 a.m., when they found a 69-year-old man who was stabbed in the chest.
An altercation between the victim and his adult son led to the stabbing, police said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The son has been taken into custody, but not yet identified as charges are pending.
