Murder-Suicide Suspected in Hyde Park Couple’s Death
Police found two senior citizens killed in an apartment on 54th Street over the weekend.
CHICAGO, IL - Police are calling the deaths of two people in an apartment over the weekend a murder-suicide.
A 65-year-old woman and 73-year-old man were found dead in an apartment in the 1400 block of East 54th Street Saturday morning, according to the Hyde Park Herald.
Police responded just before 10 a.m. to a well being check and found both the deceased suffered gunshot wounds. The man’s wound appeared to be self-inflicted.
