Woman Accused Of Using Box Cutter On Boyfriend's Face
A 21-year-old woman faces a misdemeanor charge after a domestic argument in the Kimbark Plaza parking lot.

CHICAGO, IL – A man's face was cut with a box cutter during an argument with his girlfriend in the Kimbark Plaza parking lot Wednesday afternoon. University of Chicago police responded to a situation off-campus in the 1200 block of East 53rd Street at 12:15 p.m., when they detained 21-year-old Taqueria Grant until Chicago police arrived to arrest her.
Grant was charged with one count of domestic battery - bodily harm, a misdemeanor.
According to a narrative from the UCPD, Grant was engaged in a domestic argument with the victim, her boyfriend, when she cut his face with a box cutter.

The victim was cut under the eye and refused treatment on scene, Chicago police said.
