1980 Chevy Corvette Stolen: Joliet Man Wanted By Police
The Will County State's Attorney's Office has filed criminal charges against John Dosch. He remained at large on Thursday.

JOLIET, IL — A 35-year-old Joliet man who spent two months in the Will County Jail last fall now faces another felony case. On Wednesday, Will County's prosecutors charged John Dosch with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. On Thursday, Oct. 6, Dosch was in possession of a 1980 Chevy Corvette "knowing it to have been stolen," his criminal complaint stated.
Will County Judge Art Smigielki signed Wednesday's warrant authorizing Dosch's capture by Will County authorities. The judge set bail at $250,000 for Dosch who lived in the 1700 block of Joliet's Delrose Street.
The crime was investigated by the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force.

Last year, Crest Hill police picked up Dosch on several felonies including theft, burglary, criminal trespass to vehicles, receiving/possession of stolen vehicles and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. In that case, Dosch was in the Will County Jail from Sept. 25, 2021 until Nov. 23.
