JOLIET, IL — A pair of young men from Joliet remained incarcerated in the Will County Jail a week after Joliet Police arrested them in connection with allegations they robbed two people of their cell phones. Romeo Nance, 19, of the 100 block of Zurich Road, and Andre D. Tucker, 21, of the 2900 block of Warren Dorris Drive, now face five criminal charges in connection with the Oct. 22 crime investigated by Joliet Police.

Nance and Tucker are each charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of theft and one charge of unlawful possession of cannabis.

The drug charge accuses the pair of having 100 to 500 grams of marijuana in their possession on Oct. 22. The criminal complaint indicates there were two victims of the cell phone thefts and Tucker and Nance stole the phones "by threatening the imminent use of force."
