Identity Thieves Arrested At Walmart On Jefferson: JPD
The two were captured by Joliet Police on Wednesday afternoon.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet Police say they arrested a pair of 27-year-olds from Chicago in connection with crimes involving identity theft at the Walmart store on West Jefferson Street. On Wednesday afternoon, Deyona Tucker and Aaron Dixon were hauled away in handcuffs and delivered to the Will County Adult Detention Facility, where they remain four days later.
The two have been charged with identity theft and possession of altered cards, according to police.
Joliet Police responded to the busy retail store around 2:10 p.m. on Feb. 20.

"Tucker and Dixon had in their possession gift cards that were re-encoded with stolen credit card numbers. Tucker and Dixon purchased various gift cards through the self-checkout lane with the re-encoded gift cards," Joliet Police revealed.
The two were arrested without any hassle, police reports show. Tucker, however, finds herself in more hot water with Will County's criminal justice system.

Tucker was also arrested in connection with additional identity theft crimes that occurred at the Jefferson Street Walmart on Feb. 13 and Feb. 15, Joliet Police said.
"In both incidents, Tucker purchased various gift cards through the self-checkout lane with the re-encoded gift cards," reports show.
Dixon remains locked away on a $150,000 bail. As for his alleged accomplice, Tucker is being held on a total bail of $210,000.
