2 Jewelry Thieves Sought By Will Co. Sheriff: Complaint
Both of these suspects remain at large and have not been taken into custody, yet.

JOLIET, IL — The Will County Sheriff's Office has filed two counts of theft against a 38-year-old Joliet man and a 40-year-old Crest Hill woman in connection with the theft of jewelry. The charges were filed last Friday against co-defendants Karen M. Ellis and Dustin Kochenburg. The criminal complaint alleges the pair were involved in the theft of jewelry valued between $500 and $10,000. The victim appears to be a relative of Karen Ellis, according to the complaint.
So far, Kochenburg and Ellis have not been captured by the sheriff's office, jail logs show. Ellis was in the Will County Jail back in 2017 when Joliet Police arrested her on a temporary police hold for DuPage County authorities.
Kochenburg just spent four days in the Will County Jail in early August after sheriff's deputies arrested him on 2018 charges of having a driver's license expired for more than a year and for speeding.
