2 Shot, 2 Men Arrested By Rockdale Police
The Labor Day Weekend crime occurred in the small village of Rockdale.

JOLIET, IL - The Rockdale Police Department announced that two men are now in custody in connection with a non-fatal shooting that injured two people on Saturday in the village of 2,000. Rockdale resident Jacob Gomez, 25, who lives in the 600 block of Warren Avenue, was charged with aggravated discharge of a gun. A Joliet man, Anthony Castillo, 35, of the 1300 block of Black Road, was arrested for aggravated discharge of a gun, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and aggravated battery with a firearm.
According to the Rockdale Police Department, officers were called over the weekend to the 600 block of Warren Avenue to break up a fight. "Upon arrival, officers encountered uncooperative people but did learn that two people nearby had been shot. One (person) had been shot in the back and one in the ankle. Both have been treated and released," police said.
On Sunday, Rockdale Police arrested Gomez and Castillo for the shooting, and both men are currently at the Will County Adult Detention Facility in Joliet, police said.
