JOLIET, IL — Have you been thinking about switching jobs, maybe pursuing a different career path? Has the thought of going to work at Joliet City Hall crossed your mind?
On Friday, the city of Joliet website included a job opening post for the administrative position of director of community development.
Last month, city manager Beth Beatty's administration fired Dustin Anderson, the Munster, Indiana resident, who commuted to Joliet since Beatty brought him on board in April 2024. Anderson was relieved of his duties in August and placed on administrative paid leave for a short period of time before receiving his termination letter from the city's human resources director in September.
