Body Of 27-Year-Old Joliet Man Found, Autopsy Set For Tuesday
The body of a 27-year-old man was discovered near Rockdale. The state police is investigating the incident pending an autopsy on Tuesday.
JOLIET, IL — The Illinois State Police are investigating the death of a 27-year-old Joliet man whose body was discovered at the spillway of the Brandon Road lock and dam in Joliet. The complex sits along the Des Plaines River two miles southwest of Joliet near Rockdale.
The Will County Coroner’s Office said the man was identified as Eric D. Cotter.
Cotter was found on Monday, according to a news release. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday and the final cause of death will be determined at a later date pending police, autopsy and toxicology reports.
