3 Joliet Shooting Victims At West Side Apartment Units, Joliet Police Have Massive Presence At Crime Scene
This marks the first time in 2026 that the Joliet Police Department has encountered a shooting of three people being shot.

JOLIET, IL —Joliet police's Dwayne English informs Joliet Patch that three people were taken to St. Joe's hospital, but he does not have details yet on their conditions or genders. "It's still a very fluid scene," he said.
Thursday night's shootings happened in the 900 block of Lois Place, the Larkin Village Apartments.
"That explains the cops outside my building," one person commented on the Joliet Police Facebook page.

"I live right by and I didn't hear no shooting or fighting and my windows are open but I pray they are OK," one woman wrote.
"Wow, that's mad crazy, I'm safe in my house," another woman responded.

"Sadly, you can still it's getting warmer. The idiots are emerging. Prayers to the victims and our police officers," one man wrote.
"Too much going on these days," another woman wrote.
