4 Anthony's Pub Patrons Find Themselves In Handcuffs, Joliet Police Reveal Why Arrests Were Made
But the crowd became increasingly disorderly, with arguments escalating into several physical altercations, Joliet police revealed.

JOLIET, IL —Every year, several people are arrested at Anthony's Restaurant and Bar near the Louis Joliet Mall, but it's rare for four people to be arrested at the same time. Such a scenario unfolded this past weekend as Joliet police arrested four women from Plainfield and Joliet early Sunday morning.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, at 2 a.m., officers at Anthony’s Restaurant and Bar, 3151 Voyager Lane, were working to clear the parking lot and nearby business parking lots after the business had closed for the evening.
English said the officers directed patrons to leave the parking lots, and those at Anthony’s complied without issue.

"Large crowds continued to gather in nearby parking lots. Officers made multiple announcements over squad car public address systems directing individuals to disperse, but the crowd became increasingly disorderly, with arguments escalating into several physical altercations," English said.
He said the officers intervened in a fight in the Dollar Tree parking lot, where it is alleged that Aniyah Travis, 24, of Plainfield struck an officer in the chest. She was taken into custody.

Additional disturbances occurred in the Planet Fitness parking lot. During those incidents, Erris Milsap, 38, of Plainfield allegedly struck an officer and was taken into custody, English said.
Then there was Shykenya Lindsey. The 34-year-old Joliet resident was also taken into custody after attempting to interfere with Milsap’s arrest, English indicated.
And that's not all.
Officers also spotted 42-year-old Plainfield resident Ishaunda Mabry continuing to engage in the disturbance, refusing commands to leave, and interfering with efforts to restore order, English said. Mabry was taken into custody, too.
Here's how the arrests broke down:
Mabry was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer and criminal trespass.
Lindsey, Milsap, and Travis were each charged with battery,
obstructing a peace officer and criminal trespass.
All four were processed at the Joliet Police Department and released on a notice to appear in court.
