4 Hurt In 7-Vehicle Crest Hill Crash Involving School Bus, Semi: Reports

CREST HILL, IL — Four people were injured Monday morning after a crash in Crest Hill, according to authorities.

The incident occurred on Route 53 near Stateville Correctional Center, the city said in a Facebook post just before 8:30 a.m. The crash involved seven vehicles, including a school bus carrying children and a semitrailer, FOX 32 reported.

The four victims suffered minor injuries and were transported to receive medical attention, according to city officials. Route 53 was closed between Division Street and Caton Farm Road but had fully reopened by 11:30 a.m., the city said.
