JOLIET, IL — Cullinan Properties announced at Thursday's press conference that it has achieved more than 500,000 square feet of executed deals current or coming to Rock Run Collection, including naming five additional national and regional retailer tenants alongside previously announced
DICK’S House of Sport.

“DICK'S House of Sport does not go just anywhere, and the fact that they chose Joliet, and chose to build it from the ground up here, tells you everything about where this city is headed. Shopping, restaurants, and entertainment are following! Look at the great announcements today and more
coming, not to mention the activity already happening here. Hollywood Casino, Chipotle, the View apartments, Ricky Rockets and so much more! We can’t wait for the retail momentum to open doors in 2027,” declared Joliet Mayor Terry D’Arcy at the huge press conference.

The announcement was made as the developer broke ground for its retail elements currently under development at the 310-acre super regional destination.

Joining DICK’S House of Sport, the newly named retail tenants to open in 2027 include Five Below, Maurices, Spencer’s, Buckle, and Milano Nail Salon. Additional retail tenants will be released soon.

Thursday's groundbreaking for the development’s two retail zones and the anchor retail tenant DICK’S House of Sport was attended by U.S. Senator Dick Durbin, U.S. Representative Lauren Underwood, Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, Joliet Mayor Terry D’Arcy, Cullinan Properties
Chairman Diane Cullinan Oberhelman, DICK’S Sporting Goods Senior VP of Real Estate & Construction Vince Corno and additional industry leaders.

“Today is an exciting milestone for Rock Run Collection at the Crossroads of Mid-America and the gateway to Chicago,” said Diane Cullinan Oberhelman, Chairman of Cullinan Properties. “The vision has created a true destination that brings together best-in-class retail, dining, entertainment, hospitality and residential experiences in one incredible location. With Hollywood Casino Joliet thriving, residents now calling The View luxury apartments home, construction moving quickly
across the development, and DICK’S House of Sport anchoring this next phase, Rock Run Collection is alive in every way.”

Those retail zones are adjacent to the new Hollywood Casino Joliet and The View apartment complex further completing the 1.3 million square foot development that will be one stop for living, dining, shopping, and playing.

“When I worked with U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) to help secure $20 million in federal funding for the interchange at Illinois Route 59 on I-55, I knew this grant would provide an opportunity for economic growth,” U.S. Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) said. “Local
leaders, Cullinan Properties, and labor took the ball and ran with it. Today’s Rock Run Retail Groundbreaking Celebration brings more businesses and jobs to the Joliet region and demonstrates how transformative investments in transportation at the federal, state, county, and local level can
be.”

Earlier this year, DICK’S Sporting Goods announced its plans to build its experiential retail concept, DICK’S House of Sport, at Rock Run Collection and that site prep is well underway with vertical construction soon to begin. The 120,000-square-foot facility is the first DICK’S House of Sport to be built from the ground up in the Chicagoland area. The store will provide athletes with an incredible assortment of products along with in-store experiences, including a climbing wall, multiple golf
bays with TrackMan simulators, and a multi-sport cage that can be used for baseball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer, and give athletes an opportunity to try product while measuring and tracking their performance.

Rock Run Collection’s retail centers feature convenient walkability between retailers and restaurants and approximately 555 surface level parking spaces.
