5 Things to Do This Week: Enjoy the Circus, a Movie and Music all Outdoors

- The Carson and Barns Circus is in town with the final shows at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The event is taking place at the . Adult Tickets are $16 for general admission, $19 for reserved and $22 for box seats. Children's tickets are $8 for general admission, $11 for reserved and $14 for box seats.
- : Although the actual production does not begin until Aug. 17, the cast of "Lucky Stiff," the upcoming s production, will be featured in this weeks Concert on the Hill. They will be joined by the Bicentennial Pops Band and the Chorus of DuPage. Concerts on the Hill are free and more information can be found here.
- : Starting at 7 p.m., Aug. 10, people will gather at to watch a free screening of Puss in Boots. The movie is part of the Movies in the Park series.
- LISTEN TO MUSIC ON A ROOF: The third in the Joliet Area Historical Museum's Rooftop Concert Series takes place at 7:30 p.m., Thursday. Doors open for Shindig at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $8 for museum members/students and $10 for the general public.
- : Harrah's Hotel & Casino will play host to the first annuual American Cancer Society's Pink Tea. According to the American Cancer Society, The Pink Tea will celebrate survivors and raise awareness of advances in early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
