5 Things to Do This Week: Music Under the Stars and Corvettes for a Cause

  1. SEE THE BLUES UNDER THE STARS: Tickets are still available for . Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m. The ticket price of $8 for museum members and students and $10 for the general public includes hot appetizers from The Department. A cash bar will be available.
  2. WATCH THE SMURFS IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS: ATI Memorial Stadium will be Smurfarific as the site plays host to a screening of The Smurfs as part of the series. The movie plays at dusk, but the events will begin at 7 p.m. The event is free.
  3. CELEBRATE OPEN SPACE: To celebrate the opening of , the Forest Preserve of Will County is hosting a party from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 14. The event will include a concert by Harvest Moon and lots of children's activities.
  4. LISTEN TO MUSIC OUTSIDE: The weekly series at Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park continues this week with the Hatfield Sister Fiddlers and Cloggin Kraze and kids' clog. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m.
  5. GO TO A CORVETTE CAR SHOW: On Sunday, the will play host to a for Court Appointed Special Advocates of Will County. CASA will benefit from the sale of 50/50 raffle tickets. The show is free to the public to attend and $20 for car entries.
