57th Mexican Independence Parade, Downtown Joliet Festival
Saturday will mark two huge events in Joliet. Are you going to both?

JOLIET, IL — Saturday marks one of the biggest events of the year for the city of Joliet. At 1 p.m., more than 10,ooo spectators will gather along Collins Street for the 57th annual Mexican Independence Parade and celebration. The parade is at 1 p.m.
Starting at 4 p.m., a tremendous crowd will begin to gather in downtown Joliet along North Chicago Street for the Fiesta En La Galle Street Festival. The event will include authentic Mexican food, a kids zone and live music. Tickets are $10 at the event and children 12 and under are free.
