When officers pulled him over later in the morning in his subdivision off Caton Farm Road, Decesare had an unloaded .22 caliber gun on the front seat of his car and an empty handgun magazine in his sweater pocket, according to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English.
Officers hauled away Decesare from the scene and booked him into the Will County Jail at 3:13 p.m. Decesare is being charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and having no FOID.
