Alabama Men Caught Dealing Meth In Will County: Police

JOLIET, IL - Two men from Alabama ended up in the Will County Adult Detention Facility after being charged with distributing methamphetamine this month around Wilmington. Mark E. Singleton, 45, of Wilmur, and Justin Peavy, 29, of Monroeville, were arrested by Will County Sheriff's Police on Aug. 9 near the 25000 block of South Frontage Road and West River Road.

Booking logs show that Singleton was arrested on six felony charges related to distributing meth. He currently remains lodged in the Will County jail, unable to post his $50,000 bond. Peavy also faces six felonies related to meth trafficking, however, the court gave him a lower bond, $15,000. After three days in jail, Peavy came up with $1,500 bail, or 10 percent, to remain free, pending future court proceedings.
