All These People Were Cited for Fireworks Violations

Joliet, IL — Despite the Joliet Police Department warning residents that they’d be out looking for fireworks violators, police ended up giving several citations to those found breaking the law.

Violators of these ordinances were issued a $150 compliance ticket and fireworks were confiscated.

Over the past week, the following people were cited:

Two 14-year-old juveniles were charged with fireworks. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Jerald Dr.

Janice Williams-Burns, 58, was charged with fireworks. The incident occurred in the 400 block of 129th Infantry Drive.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred in the 2600 block of Frontier Lane.

Michael E. Krohn, 30, of the 2700 block of Old Renwick Trail, was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Carlos R. Hinojosa, 28, of the 15700 block of Turlington Ave. in Harvey, was charged with fireworks. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Ward.

Lisa M. Jackson, 30, of the 1400 block of Bassett Dr., was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred at her home.

David E. Plata, 40, of the 2000 block of Cumberland Dr. in Plainfield, was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Richard O. Moldovan, 42, of the 1300 block of Green Trails in Plainfield, was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Slawomir Gacek, 32, of the 14500 block of S. 135th St. in Lockport, was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of McDonough St.

Arnulfo Guerrero, 46, of the 1600 block of Caton Ridge in Plainfield, was charged with fireworks. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of SIlver Ridge Dr.

Michael A. Marroquin, 43, of the 1700 block of Foxfield Dr., was charged with fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Artemio Hernandez, 40, of the 300 block of Granite St., was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Nicole Roberts, 38, of the 900 block of Sudbury, was charged with fireworks. The incident occurred at her home.

Jerome C. Abbott, 46, of the 700 block of Grant Ave., was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred in the 2400 block of W. Jefferson St.

Ana Dominguez, 44, of the 1100 block of Ridgewood Ave., was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred in the 3300 block of Windsor Ln.

Zachary M. Horn, 21, of the 3400 block of Karen, was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred in the 3700 block of Buck.
Matthey D. Wilson, 35, of the 200 block of Kathlyn Place, was charged with fireworks. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Kathlyn Place.

Stevon L. Hestor, 53, of the 1300 block of John St., was charged with illegal use of fireworks. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of John St.

Jeff L. McGarvey, 30, of the 100 block of S. Hammes, was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Kyle R. Donley, 32, was charged with fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Jason S. Allen, 41, of the 2600 block of Richmond St., was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Daniel Alvarez, 21, of the 500 block of Emmett St., was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Lake Point Ct.

Derek L. Vallee, 31, of the 600 block of Raub, was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Eduardo Guiterrez-Morales, of the 1200 block of Cora, was charged with possession of fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Garfield W. Love, 37, of the 200 block of S. Ottawa, was charged with fireworks. The arrest occurred at his home.

Luis M. Cantu, 18, of the 500 block of N. Bluff, was charged with fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Nicholas A. Sigwalt, 27, of Lockport, was charged with fireworks. The incident occurred at Delores and Corrigidor.

Robert G. Birnbaum, 40, of the 2800 block of Valley Forge Dr., was charged with fireworks. The incident occurred at his home.

Rami M. Hammad, 35, of the 10600 block of S. 83rd Ct., was charged with fireworks and a violation of bail bond. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Collins.

Eric Allen Roberts, 35, of the 500 block of McDonough, was charged with resisting/obstructing a peace officer, fireworks and disorderly conduct. The arrest occurred in the 900 block of Sudbury.
