Joliet Amazon Vandalism: Windows Smashed On 30 Cars

JOLIET, IL — Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English announced Sunday that the windows of 30 vehicles owned by Joliet Amazon plant employees were damaged between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. Sunday. The incident happened at the Joliet facility off Route 53 at 250 Emerald Drive.

The crimes happened in the Amazon parking lot, English noted.

Many of the victims reported to Joliet police that items were stolen from their vehicles during this time.

English announced that this is an active investigation in its early stages as Joliet Police Detectives work to identify a suspect or suspects.
