Amigeaux's Restaurant Closing In Joliet

JOLIET, IL — On the same day Shorewood learned that the Steve's Bakery on Route 59 has closed forever, the Amigeaux's Sophisticated Street Food restaurant on Joliet's West Jefferson Street is also shutting down.

Amigeaux's will no longer be in business in Joliet come next week. Amigeaux's opened last July 7, but it did not last a year.

Joliet Patch reported last summer that three business partners own several Arby's restaurants, but Joliet marks their first new restaurant concept, a blend of Cajun, Tex-Mex and Southern California cuisine.

The Joliet Arby's at 2307 West Jefferson St. had remained closed since January 2020.
