JOLIET, IL — For the second time in 10 months, 40-year-old Jacqueline Hambrick finds herself in the Will County Jail. Her latest arrest happened on Sunday evening as the result of a domestic disturbance in the Ingalls Park area of Joliet's older east side.

According to sheriff's office spokeswoman Elizabeth Matthews, at 5:39 p.m., the sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of South Park Rd in Joliet.

Upon arrival, she said the deputies made contact with a man who was attempting to get his belongings out of a home with the suspect, Jacqueline Hambrick, still inside the residence.
The victim and Hambrick began to argue over some of the items and as deputies and the victim were leaving, deputies witnessed Hambrick grab the victim's shirt, ripping it and scratching his back, Matthews said.

Hambrick was charged with domestic battery and taken to a hospital to be checked out and eventually the jail. She remained in jail on Tuesday morning awaiting her latest courthouse appearance. Hambrick also spent two days in the Will County Jail late last November when the Wilmington police arrested her on charges of aggravated battery to a police officer, domestic battery and resisting arrest.
