JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department made one of its first public indecency arrests this month last Friday, and it happened near one of the city's west side day cares.
According to police spokesman Dwayne English, at 3:11 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to the rear parking lot of 121 Springfield Avenue for a report of a man exposing himself and
masturbating near a dumpster adjacent to a daycare.
English said the officers learned that a witness observed the reported conduct and confronted the man before providing officers with his description. Officers located the man and identified him as Christopher Vlack, 36, of Homer Glen.
English said Vlack was arrested and charged with felony public indecency and criminal trespass to real
property. He was transported to the Joliet Police Department, processed and released on a notice to appear in court.
