Typically, the Autobahn is a private car country club but on occasion is open for special public events and classes in which nonmembers can participate.
This event, according to BMW of North America's online blog, is open to all BMW owners. In addition to three hours of track time, participants also get professional driving instruction, timed autocross and a chance to try out new BMW models, including the 6 Series Gran coupe, X6 M and 3 Series sedan.
Participants must present a driver's license and drive a car that's in good running order, including brakes and tires.
