Group Show Runs through Dec. 24 at Ainsworth Gallery

The Ainsworth-Gallery presents its’ annual group show featuring several long time gallery artists.  The exhibit is on display now and will run until Dec. 24 at 721 Taylor Street in Joliet.

Back by popular demand local artist Beverly Decman will display hand-blown crystal glass ornaments.  She fashions each unique piece over an open flame. (Don’t try this at home)  Her vibrant colors come from bits of stained glass not from dyes or anything painted on.  Because of the nature of the process each ornament is one of a kind, and quantities are limited.  Her work has become highly sought after by collectors throughout the mid-west.

For the eighth straight year Anne Maraviglia will display her pottery and sculpture.  Her work is a great example of ‘East Meets West’.  Anne studied and worked in Japan as well as here on the Illinois prairie.  She continues to delight the many collectors of her work by constantly developing new variations on ageless themes.
