Michael Fellows Obituary

Michael Louella "Mike" Fellows, age 70, of Lewisburg, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 4th in Mission Viejo, California.

She was preceded in her death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Richard; her daughter, Robin; daughter, Kimberly; father, Walter Wright; mother, Etta Wright; and brother, Lester Wright.

Those surviving are her sons, Richard, (Mitzi) CO, Carey (Tiffany) CA and daughter Chris Anne, FL. Also surviving is her brother, Pete Wright, IL; sister, Jackie Wright, IL.; half-sister, Gloria Swanson (Victor Swanson), IL.; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

"Mike" was known for her tender smile and soft heart and she will be remembered for her enduring love and compassion for her family. Her children would say that Mom would always remind them, "God has a plan, and He works in mysterious ways!" "Her faith was never shaken even with life's challenges." She will also be remembered for her kind smile and caring words. "She was a sweet friend who had a cheerful word to share no matter the circumstance!"

Mike cherished her family and friends from all of the chapters of her life. She loved her childhood friends whom she spoke of on "Summit Street" in Joliet with fondness and a "twinkle in her eye!" She lovingly spoke of her "second home" as "St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church/school, where she had many of her fondest memories.

After being married in 1958, she lived in a total of nine different places, making warm friends along the way! One of her favorite places was Hawaii-she loved the sun, the dolphins, shells and gorgeous beaches! It matched her sunny disposition! Mike's love, generosity, compassion, positive attitude, good humor and strong faith will stay with all who knew her, forever!

A church service will be held at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, 310 N. Broadway St. in Joliet on Saturday, June 23rd at 1pm. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church.
