The Walk-Ins to Fire-up Things Up at Sertoma Centre’s BIG Event!

High Energy Performers Value the Mission of Sertoma Centre, Inc.

The Walk-Ins will perform their eclectic mix of Motown, classic rock, hits from the 80’s and more at Sertoma Centre’s BIG Event, held on Saturday, April 27 at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, IL.   The Walk-Ins are a group of educators and talented musicians who are eager to perform at BIG Event this year. Joe Matise, spokesperson for the Walk-Ins said, “As educators we identify with Sertoma Centre’s mission to provide opportunities that empower individuals with disabilities to achieve personal success.” Band members teach in the Chicago Heights School system and are dedicated to motivating grade school and middle school children to realize their goals.

 The Walk-ins are a harmony driven cover / original band from Chicago’s south suburbs. The band consists of Joe Matise (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Mike “The Deuce” Michor (Lead Guitar, Vocals), Mike Molinets (Drums, Vocals) and J.R. Entsminger (Bass, Vocals). The Walk-ins’ set list spans the 50’s through today, and their high energy live shows have been met with rave reviews across the Chicagoland area.   The band members live in the south suburbs of Tinley Park, Lockport and Oak Forest, IL.

Please mark your calendar and join us on Saturday April 27, from 5 – 9 p.m. at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, IL.  Proceeds from the event benefit the more than 700 individuals with disabilities served by Sertoma Centre, Inc.
