Angry New Lenox Man Kept Punching Harrah's Casino Security: JPD
Joliet squad cars responded to Harrah's Casino for an unwanted person: it was Michael Knowles, 34, of New Lenox, police noted.

JOLIET, IL — A 34-year-old man from New Lenox who went to the Harrah's Casino in downtown Joliet on Thursday night is now behind bars at the Will County Jail. Joliet police officers hauled away Michael Knowles in handcuffs from the Harrah's Casino just two blocks from the police station.
The New Lenox man was charged with aggravated battery and obstructing a police officer.

Officers were notified by Harrah's Casino of an unwanted person on their premises shortly after 11:35 p.m.
Knowles had attacked a Harrah’s security guard after Knowles was refused entry onto the casino floor due to his level of intoxication.

While security guards were ushering the New Lenox man off the property, Knowles struck a security guard in the chest multiple times.
Knowles was placed into custody following a brief struggle with Joliet police and security guards.
Knowles comes from the 700 block of Brockwood Road. He will have his bail hearing on Friday afternoon at the Will County Courthouse.
