Anyone Know Who This Fake ComEd Employee Is?
The man allegedly knocked on a Joliet resident's door posing as an employee.
Police are looking for information that will lead to the identity of a man posing as a ComEd employee.
The person shown in the photo allegedly knocked on the door of a house in the 1100 block of North Center Street posing as a ComEd employee, according to a post on the Joliet Police Department’s Facebook page.
When confronted by the resident he became angry and left in a hurried manner. He appeared to be communicating with someone in a brown or tan older Chevrolet Suburban or GMC Yukon.
ComEd recently warned customers to be aware of scams of this type.
