Want marijuana to ease what ails you? Online applications for medical marijuana are now available from the State of Illinois through the Medical Cannabis Pilot Program. While the applications are ready, you cannot submit them until next month.
In addition to forms for patients, marijuana applications for medical professionals, caregivers, cultivators, dispensaries and business owners are available on the website.
On the site, business applicants can review program guidelines how government regulators will make decisions in the awarding of licenses. Business plans, security and record-keeping are critical to the review, as well as compliance with local ordinances.
