Armed Robber Strikes 7-Eleven On Joliet's Larkin Avenue
The armed robber was last seen running on Larkin Avenue, police said.

JOLIET, IL - The Joliet Police Department is investigating an early morning armed robbery that took place Wednesday at the 7-Eleven store in the 300 block of South Larkin Avenue. The crime occurred around 1:30 a.m. Police Chief Brian Benton said the robber wore a white bandana to conceal his face. He also pulled out a knife, threatening one of the employees.
The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. He is described as being either white or Hispanic, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8, and weighing 190 pounds. He wore a black cap with a Nike logo, blue jeans and a black sweatshirt. Nobody inside the store at the time was harmed during the crime, Benton said.
