Awesome Sign For New Joliet Business On Jefferson St.

JOLIET, IL — The building is built, the business signs are up and Joliet's very first Take 5 Oil Change shop is almost ready to open at the corner of West Jefferson and Barney Drive, on land formerly used by the D'Arcy Hyundai car dealership.

One of the company's representatives told Joliet Patch's editor on Thursday that Take 5 hopes to open in about three weeks, pending its fire inspection with city of Joliet officials.

As part of Take 5's grand opening celebration, the company intends to offer huge discounts for the first few months in hopes of gaining lots of new, future loyal customers, he added.

According to the Take 5 Oil Change website, the company proclaims that its business model goes by three words: Fast, Friendly and Simple:

• "You’ll be in and out in 10 minutes."
• "You’ll get a free water, tire check, and fluid top off."
• "You’ll stay in your car the entire time.

Back in February, Joliet Patch reported that the new Take 5 Oil Change business would employ eight to 10 people per shift, and be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

"We have 677 locations ready to provide you the best oil change experience possible," the company website informs people.

Take 5 Oil Change has locations across the country and several businesses scattered around Illinois. The closest ones to Joliet include: Midlothian, Schaumburg, Palos Heights, Oak Lawn, Woodridge as well as Peru and Bourbonnais.
