District 204 parents can keep track of the school calendar now that the 2023-2024 campaign is underway for Joliet Central and Joliet West.

JOLIET, IL — This marks the first full week of classes for teenagers who attend Joliet West and Joliet Central within Joliet Township High School District 204, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the new school year.

The first day of school for District 204 was Aug. 16.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. We also suggest that you check the District 204 calendar for late starts, early dismissals, exams, open houses, parent-teacher conferences, athletic and school events. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22–24

Winter Break: Dec. 23 –Jan. 9, classes resume Jan. 10

Spring Break: March 25–29, 2024

Graduation: May 18, 2024

Last Day: May 24, 2024
