Beggars Pizza To Open Unique Restaurant On Plainfield Road
There aren't too many Beggars Pizzas locations around the immediate Joliet area, but that's about to change.

CREST HILL, IL — Elected officials in Crest Hill are sharing the news that Beggars Pizza will be filling a commercial building located at 1720 Plainfield Road. The plan is to open the new restaurant at the end of September or beginning of October, according to Crest Hill Mayor Ray Soliman.
Earlier in the day, Crest Hill City Councilwoman Claudia Gazal shared news of the Beggars Pizza on a business networking site. Gazal informed Joliet Patch she is "just looking forward for a new addition to Crest Hill and we wish them all."
The Beggars Pizza will go in between the McDonald's restaurant and the Dunkin' Donuts.

Mayor Soliman said the new Beggars Pizza won't feature a traditional dining room.
Instead, it will be exclusively geared for delivery and carryout orders. There will be a counter with about eight to 10 seats for customers wanting to eat their lunch inside, Soliman said.

Dave Susay, the businessman opening the new Beggars Pizza in Crest Hill, currently runs the one in Mokena, and he previously had the Beggars Pizza in New Lenox, Soliman said.
"We are very excited, and we're happy to have Beggars Pizza at 1720 Plainfield Road," Soliman said.
Years ago, the property used to be a KFC restaurant. In recent years, it was an Illinois Title company, "but all the title companies closed," Soliman said.
