Blackjack Player Severely Injured in Fall Because Casino Used Wrong Chair: Lawsuit
The chair was supposed to be at a roulette table, the lawsuit said.
A Joliet man was severely injured while playing blackjack at Hollywood Casino after he was seated in the wrong type of chair, according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.
Norman Nemanich suffered “severe and permanent injuries” in the January 2014 spill, the lawsuit said.
Nemanich was “engaged in blackjack and sitting in a blackjack chair” when the dealer told him to “move over to the chair next to him,” the lawsuit said.
