Boyfriend Stabbed With Scissors At Star Inn: Police
Joliet police officers arrived at the Star Inn Plaza early Sunday evening after learning of a domestic disturbance.

JOLIET, IL — A Will County judge has set bail at $25,000 for an 18-year-old Joliet woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday at the Star Inn hotel in the 2200 block of West Jefferson Street.
Joliet police arrested Caiyana Brown on charges of aggravated domestic battery. Patrol officers responded to the Star Inn after learning of a domestic disturbance.
"Upon arrival, officers determined that Brown had stabbed a male victim, her boyfriend, in the back using a pair of scissors during an argument," according to Sgt. Dwayne English. "Brown was still on scene and was taken into custody without incident. A Joliet Fire Department ambulance responded to the scene, but the victim refused medical assistance."

Brown was booked into the Will County Jail around 9:25 p.m. She lives in the 900 block of Camel Street, Will County Jail records show.
