Brothers Jailed in Connection With Child Porn Case

Two brothers were arrested on child pornography charges during a Friday morning raid on their Crest Hill home.

Andrew Castro, 26, and Levi Castro, 29, were carted off to the Will County jail and are scheduled to appear in court Saturday morning for a bond hearing.

Andrew Castro was charged with the dissemination of child pornography and possession of child pornography. Levi Castro was charged with the possession of child pornography.

The Will County State’s Attorney’s High Technology Crimes Unit launched the investigation that culminated with the Castros’ arrest.

Investigators identified a computer with an IP address that led them to the Castros’ home on Theodore Street, according to the state’s attorney’s office. The brothers were arrested after police turned up with a search warrant.
