JOLIET, IL - Over the years, thousands of people dined at the Applebee's restaurant on West Jefferson Street, but those days abruptly came to an end. Applebee's closed the Joliet restaurant near the Walmart and Menards stores earlier this month. But here's the deal: if you are looking to keep a piece of Applebee's nostalgia for yourself or perhaps you're in the local restaurant industry and find yourself in need of new kitchen equipment, chairs, seats and a whole lot more, then keeping reading.

"All contents of the recently closed Applebee’s Restaurant & Bars in Joliet, DeKalb, Zion, Country Club Hills and Chicago must be sold! This is a great opportunity to bid on many items that are still in great condition!" a press release provided to Joliet Patch notes.

The online auction bidding is set for next week, starting Monday, June 25.

Items for the Jefferson Street Applebee's will be available for bidding between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, Central time.
