August will be a busy month at Junk in the Trunk Morris, with outdoor flea markets planned in Gardner on Sunday August 2nd, Finders Flea in Mazon on Saturday August 8th and Morris on Sunday August 16th. It all kicks off Sunday August 2nd at Parks Place in Gardner. Our independent vendors will be open for business on August 2nd from 9AM until 3PM, offering shoppers a wide variety of items at excellent prices. The easy to find Gardner location is 102 S. IL Rt. 53, one block east of I-55 Exit #227. Parks Place was once a Standard Oil Filling Station on historic Rt. 66 and is currently located between Subway and Casey’s. If you would like to be a vendor in Gardner on August 2nd, or at any of our upcoming events in Morris, Gardner or Mazon, it is not too late as advance registration is not required. Simply arrive at 8AM, pay the $15 vendor fee, and take an available spot. Vendors with small trailers are welcome without an additional charge, and there is no admission fee for shoppers. Proceeds from vendor fees received at this event will be donated to the Goose Lake Prairie Partners.
