Camping World Embezzler Surrenders To Joliet Police: Cops
Kelli Kapsalis surrendered herself to the Joliet Police Department last week following Braidwood police's eight-month investigation.

JOLIET, IL — A 58-year-old woman accused of embezzling several thousand dollars from the Camping World business in Braidwood near Interstate 55 will not spend any time in the Will County Jail as her criminal case gets underway at the Will County Courthouse.
On Thursday, according to Joliet Police, Kelli Kapsalis posted a $10,000 cash bond in connection with her arrest warrant on charges of continuing a financial crimes enterprise, theft and forgery.
Joliet police said that Kapsalis was placed under arrest without incident after she turned herself in at the Joliet Police Department.

That same date, Braidwood police posted a news bulletin on their Facebook page indicating that officers received a report way back on Feb. 22 alleging that Camping World employee Kapsalis was stealing money from the store.
Kapsalis worked at Camping World as the Braidwood business' finance manager.

On Wednesday, after an eight-month criminal investigation, Braidwood police got a warrant to arrest Kapsalis on the three felony charges and her bail was set at $100,000 by a Will County judge.
"An undisclosed amount of money was seized during the course of this eight month investigation," the Braidwood Police Department announced.
Kapsalis lives in Reddick, which is a tiny village in Kankakee County.
