Can You Spare Tall Tree For City Of Joliet?
Joliet is asking someone to donate an evergreen tree to display downtown over the Christmas holidays.
JOLIET, IL - It's that time of the year again. Joliet is looking for a large tree to display prominently at the Van Buren Street plaza for the Christmas holidays. Thousands of people flock downtown for the holidays as the Rialto Square Theatre hosts numerous events during November and December. Joliet said that anyone wishing to donate must have an evergreen tree that is at least 30 to 35 feet.
"The City of Joliet will remove the tree at no charge to the resident," the city press release states.
